Earthday
Earth day is first celebrated on April22 1970 .It is very important to celebrate this day as this let the earth rest. This is the history of earth day:In 1963, former Senator Gaylord Nelson began to worry about our planet. (A senator is a person that the people of the United States have chosen to help make the laws.) Senator Nelson knew that our world was getting dirty and that many of our plants and animals were dying. He wondered why more people weren't trying to solve these problems. He talked to other lawmakers and to the President. They decided that the President would go around the country and tell people about these concerns. He did, but still not enough people were working on the problem. The Idea Then, in 1969, Senator Nelson had another idea. He decided to have a special day to teach everyone about the things that needed changing in our environment. He wrote letters to all of the colleges and put a special article in Scholastic Magazine to tell them about the special day...
My Diary
Dear diary, today is a very terrible day. It starts of as a normal day when I was ready for school my maid brought me to school. When I arrived in school the trouble started when I wanted to talk to my friend , Megan she ignore me. I felt very sad and when I sat near her she asked me to sit far away from her when she said that I felt very hurt and sadly I sat far from her. When I started to talked to Zelig, my another friend about a television programme he asked me to keep quiet I look away sadly and kept quiet. When my friend said she wanted to lend me the Winxclub story book yesterday but she did not bring it today Today is the most terrible day.

What will you defend? As for me I will defend the Singapore's flag. It is very important to us as it represents our country. I will make sure that nobody step on our country's flag or burn it. I want to defend Singapore's flag so that other people from bigger country will come to Singapore and work with us.Whenever our Singapore's flag are raise high up on the flagpole I felt very proud as I am a Singaporean.
